Fallen Shogunate

Medieval fantasy, with magic and spirits from Japanese mythology. Background: For a thousand years, the Ashikaga Shogunate maintained balance through the "Treaty of the Veils," a series of sacred pacts that kept spirits (Yokai) in the forests and humans in the cities. However, a decade ago, the last Shogun died without an heir, assassinated by a shadowy entity. The treaty was broken. Now, samurai clans tear each other apart for the empty throne, while reality itself unravels, allowing the spiritual world to seep into the material. It is a world of melancholic beauty. You will see cherry blossoms falling over muddy battlefields. The main conflict is not just "good versus evil," but the clash between Tradition (restoring the shogunate) and Dangerous Freedom (a world without lords, but full of monsters).
